Oriflame Lip Sensation Matte Mousse Collection – 7 Lip Color Swatches
Oriflame Lip Sensation Matte Mousse Collection is the newest launch by the brand. It is officially yet to be available for everyone to buy, so I am definitely over the moon to be among the first few who got this chance at trying out these!
This collection has a total of 10 lip colors and each one of it is gorgeous. They come in simple yet transparent tube packing, which makes it convenient to pick when stacked or stored.
Here’s what Oriflame Lip Sensation Matte Mousse Collection claims –
These are light-as-air liquid lipsticks with a smooth, velvety finish in 10 stunning full-coverage shades that go the distance. They are infused with comforting and conditioning ingredients so lips stay quenched all day.
**Guaranteed to cause lip envy**
Here I have swatched 7 of these colors for you –
Soft and Neutrals – Satin Rose, & Soft Mulberry (L-R)
These are the first two colors that got me totally excited (until I swatched Rouge Suede). They on their own are pretty colors and can be easily worn during the day time including to the office.
However, I loved cocktailing these two colors and the result is just mind blowing! These two gel with each other extremely well and give out a soft muted rose color which I totally love.
If you are into softer colors lately (like me) these two are the ones you should look for!
Pinks and Corals – Pink Velour, Coral Dream, & Raspberry Cloud (L-R)
As much as I want to save these for Spring/Summer, I don’t think I can resist these for that long. Raspberry Cloud is my favorite here. It is a rich and intense raspberry pink which almost passes off as Fuchsia. I think it straddles the line between the two and I for sure can’t make out which one I should term it as. Whatever it is, this is one of the gorgeous shades I have tried recently.
While Pink Velour certainly did wash me off a bit, a mix of this one along with another rich color seems to be working the trick. You know how much I love cocktailing the lip colors!
Coral Dream is one am quite curious about. I am hoping to experiment with this one a lot in coming days. So keep an eye!
Reds – Rouge Suede & Red Velvet (L – R)
It’s been a while since I last worn anything Red on my lips. So believe me when I say, I am in love with Rouge Suede. It is a rich and an intense color and yet soft on the eyes. It’s not too much into the face and yet it is one of the statement lip colors I have got so far.
This color is perfect for all those date nights with your loved one, Christmas, and New Year Eve parties and of course the much awaited Valentine’s too.
On the other hand, Red Velvet, I think is more suited for the daytime. It’s a rich color with strong undertones of pink. It is not the usual Reds I have worn before and anything Pink suits me more than any other color. So I am quite excited to try this as well!
Overall, the formula is intense, creamy and rich; so you will definitely need a mirror to apply any of these. Luckily most of these shades are rich and intense enough in color, so you need not layer to pack more of the color. The less the better!
I really liked when I applied the colors and patted down with a tissue or finger to make them less intense and look softer. All the colors lasted really well throughout the day and my favorite are Rouge Suede followed by Soft Mulberry.
The creamy formula is gorgeous and it is more hydrating than any other mattes I have tried recently. Also, these Matte Mousse colors are neither glossy nor shiny which makes them a perfect choice for this season.
That said, there are 3 more shades which I am yet to try – Toffee Cream, Plush Peach, and Boysenberry. While am excited about Toffee cream, which is again a neutral color, am very curious to see how Boysenberry swatches. I tend to deviate more towards the fancy names and this one totally got my attention!
So those were the swatches of 7 colors from the Oriflame Lip Sensation Matte Mousse Collection. What all shades made into your wish list?
